The ‘Expats Party’ resumed in September 2006 after a summer hiatus at ‘Bangkok Restaurant & Irish Pub’. Thai Hotels Association – Samui president, Montien House GM Ruengnam Chaikwang, gave a presentation on THA goals and projects on Samui. Among the projects is a ‘Beach Cleaning’ assessment by government specialists from BKK and Samui. The assessment includes ocean water quality and sea life. The next steps will be improvements and cooperation with the municipality for uniform cleaning operation and projects.
